Frequently Asked Questions
Why isn’t my session generating?
A few things to check:
- Enter a topic. A topic is required before generating a session.
- Check your credits. Free accounts have a limited number of generation credits. Upgrade to premium for unlimited access.
- Check your connection. Session generation requires an active internet connection.
- Try again. If the error persists, close and reopen the app, then try generating again.
My audio won’t play. What should I do?
- Make sure your device is not on silent mode.
- Check that your volume is turned up.
- If you’re listening in the background, ensure background app refresh is enabled for Oriamind in your device settings.
- Restart the app and try playing the track again.
How do I change my voice?
Go to the Account tab and tap Voice Preference. You can choose between three voices: Jane, Cora, and Christopher. Changes apply to new sessions going forward.
I lost my sessions or my content is missing.
Make sure you are signed in with the same account (email, Apple, or Google) you used when you first created your content. If you are signed in correctly and content is still missing, contact us at support@oriamind.com.
The app is crashing or behaving unexpectedly.
- Make sure you have the latest version of Oriamind installed from the App Store.
- Restart the app completely.
- Restart your device.
- If the issue continues, email support@oriamind.com with a description of what happened and your device model and iOS version.
Subscription & Billing
What’s included in the free plan vs. premium?
The free plan includes a limited number of session generation and chat credits. Premium unlocks unlimited session generation and chat interactions.
How do I upgrade to premium?
Tap the upgrade prompt within the app, or go to the Account tab and tap Upgrade. Follow the in-app purchase flow to subscribe.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. To cancel:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Oriamind.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
How do I restore a previous purchase?
Go to the Account tab in the app and tap Restore Purchases. Your subscription will be reactivated if it is still active.
Account & Data Deletion
To delete your Oriamind account and all associated data:
- Open the Oriamind app.
- Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
What gets deleted: Your account, all generated sessions, chat history, focus areas, and preferences are permanently removed from our servers.
Important: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your App Store subscription. You must cancel your subscription separately through Apple (see “How do I cancel my subscription?” above) to stop future charges.
If you are unable to delete your account from within the app, email support@oriamind.com and we will process the deletion manually within 5 business days.
