Oriamind (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website and use the Oriamind mobile application (“Application”).

2. Information We Collect

Data Provided by You

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you:

  • Register for an account: We collect your name, email address, and profile picture provided via third-party authentication services (Apple, Google, or Convex Auth).
  • Use the Application: We collect information related to your use of therapeutic audio, hypnotherapy scripts, and framing protocols.
  • Communicate with us: We collect your email and any information provided in support requests.

Automatically Collected Data

When you access the Application, we automatically collect:

  • Usage Data: Interaction with framing protocols, track listening history, session duration, streaks, and engagement metrics.
  • Device Information: Operating system version, device manufacturer, unique device identifiers, and IP address.
  • Subscription Data: We process transaction identifiers and subscription status via our service provider, Adapty. We do not store your credit card information; payments are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process your data to:

  • Provide Services: Operate and maintain the Application’s core features.
  • Personalize Content: Tailor AI-driven hypnotherapy and tactical framing exercises to your needs.
  • Improve Effectiveness: Analyze usage patterns via PostHog to improve the therapeutic quality of our protocols.
  • Synthesize Audio: We use Microsoft Azure AI Speech to convert text scripts into audio for your sessions.
  • Communications: Send service-related updates and respond to support inquiries.

4. Sharing Your Information

We share information with third-party service providers that perform services for us:

  • Convex: Backend infrastructure and data storage.
  • PostHog: Product analytics and usage tracking.
  • Adapty: Subscription management and in-app purchase validation.
  • Microsoft Azure: Speech synthesis (text-to-speech) processing.
  • Auth Providers: Apple and Google for secure authentication.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. You may request account deletion at any time through the Settings menu within the Application or by contacting us at support@oriamind.com. Upon deletion, your personal data will be purged from our active databases.

To prevent abuse of our free credit system, we retain a minimal record of the authentication identifiers (such as the opaque provider identifier issued by Apple or Google, or your email address if you use email authentication) associated with accounts that have received free starter credits. This record contains no name, payment information, or session content, and is used solely to prevent re-issuance of free credits to the same identity after account deletion. It is not shared with third parties.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR in Europe, CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can exercise these rights by contacting us.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Application is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
